Scrum Alliance Sponsors Scrum Day San Diego for Second Year

May 26th San Diego, CA – the Scrum Alliance is now an official sponsor of  Scrum Day San Diego.  With this decision to support Scrum Day San Diego for a second year, the Scrum Alliance recognizes the value of this one-day conference, offers Scrum Day participants the opportunity to earn eight Category A SEU and connects San Diego County to the global Scrum community.

For the Scrum Alliance, sponsorship of this year’s event was an easy decision since the mission of Scrum Day San Diego aligns with their vision to help you “become part of something bigger than you alone.  With over 375,000 members worldwide, Scrum Alliance brings you together with like-minded people who are passionate about Scrum and who are changing the world of work every day.”

Carlton Nettleton, organizer of Scrum Day San Diego, had this to say about the news, “I am very happy that the Scrum Alliance continues to support Scrum Day San Diego.  The Scrum and Agile community in San Diego County is strong and it is good that Scrum Alliance recognizes the importance of this local event.  Also, the eight Category A SEU is not going to hurt.   Thank you Scrum Alliance!”

The Scrum Alliance is a nonprofit membership organization that encourages and supports the widespread adoption and effective practice of Scrum.  They provide advocacy, community, and education to support this movement, equip their member and help them succeed with Scrum in software development and beyond.  Learn more at www.ScrumAlliance.org and come sprint with us!
